Did You Know?

Not all drone operators can fly after dark. A standard FAA Part-107 certificate is not enough. An additional waiver, known as a Part-107.29 Daylight Operation Waiver or more commonly referred to as a "Night Waiver" is required by the FAA if the flight takes place between a half hour after sunset and a half hour before sunrise. This waiver shows that the operator not only possesses the right equipment but has proven to understand the additional risks and safety procedures that comes with flying after dark.
